Alishan Oolong tea is the hallmark of Taiwan’s mountain teas. It is grown 1,300 meters above sea level in the midst of the mountain range where the visibility is high and the water clear. At such high altitudes, the air is frigid and the days are short and in the morning and at night the mountains are shrouded by mist. The cool weather, pure water, and the rich soil are conducive to growing the finest tea.
The Perfect Use:
Hot Drink:
- Place the tea bag into a cup. If using loose leaves, add 1 tbsp of loose tea leaves in a stainless steel tea strainer into a cup.
- Add 200°F of boiling purified water and allow the tea to steep for 3-5 minutes before drinking.
- The longer you steep it, the more flavorful it will be!
Serving Tips:
- If additional sweetness is desired, add sugar or honey and stir thoroughly.
Cold Drink:
- Place the tea bag or our recommended serving size of 1 tbsp of loose tea leaves into our Emperor Love Glass Bottle.
- 5 Fill with boiling purified water and let the bottle sit in the fridge overnight for 6-8 hours before drinking.
Serving Tips:
- For extra flavor, infuse tea with herbs or fruit such as fruit slices, peppermint, or lemon basil.
- For a light creamy taste, add almond, soy, or coconut milk.
