We make our Taiwanese Black Tea useing the technique of making oolong tea, this helps creating the aromatic taste of the tea and keeps the taste fresh even when you steep it for too long. Comparing to other black teas, our Taiwanese Balck Tea contains a faint smell of malt, and adequate taste.
Taiwan's black tea series belong to Nantou Zhushan and Alishan.
Yunkai Alisha Red Oolong
Produced at an altitude of 1600 meters, where most of the best teas are from. with the characteristics of high-altitude tea, such as the fresh and sweet taste gushing out like spring, then back to aromatic and thick taste, lastly with a aftertaste of honey and fruit.
The Perfect Use:
Hot Drink:
- Place the tea bag into a cup. If using loose leaves, add 1 tbsp of loose tea leaves in a stainless steel tea strainer into a cup.
- Add 200°F of boiling purified water and allow the tea to steep for 3-5 minutes before drinking.
- The longer you steep it, the more flavorful it will be!
Serving Tips:
- If additional sweetness is desired, add sugar or honey and stir thoroughly.
Cold Drink:
- Place the tea bag or our recommended serving size of 1 tbsp of loose tea leaves into our Emperor Love Glass Bottle.
- 5 Fill with boiling purified water and let the bottle sit in the fridge overnight for 6-8 hours before drinking.
Serving Tips:
- For extra flavor, infuse tea with herbs or fruit such as fruit slices, peppermint, or lemon basil.
- For a light creamy taste, add almond, soy, or coconut milk.
